Bassing Ali Kamaldeen, Esq. is a dedicated and forward-thinking legal professional currently undertaking his pupillage at S&S Legal Associates in Accra. He is also pursuing his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Energy Law at the University of Ghana, Legon, with a particular research focus on the upstream and downstream energy sectors, including petroleum, oil and gas, and electricity markets.

Bassing possesses a strong academic foundation in Law, Economic Policy Management, and the Social Sciences, which informs his analytical and interdisciplinary approach to legal practice. He holds a Qualifying Certificate in Law (QCL) from the Ghana School of Law, Makola, a Master of Arts in Economic Policy Management (EPM) from the University of Ghana, Legon, a Post-First Degree Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Wisconsin International University College, Accra, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, and a Diploma in Social Work from the School of Social Work, Osu-Accra.

His professional interests span legal research, litigation, dispute resolution, and public policy, with a growing passion for leveraging law as a tool for social and economic development. His prior experience with the Legal Aid Commission and the Parliament of Ghana provided him with valuable exposure to public law, advocacy, and legislative processes, deepening his understanding of justice administration and governance.
Bassing is recognized for his strong writing, communication, and research skills, as well as his attention to detail and ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively. He approaches his work with diligence, intellectual curiosity, and an unwavering ethical commitment to delivering quality legal support and client-focused solutions.

As he advances in his professional training, Bassing aims to contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s legal and policy landscape by promoting access to justice and supporting sound legal and regulatory reforms, particularly within the energy and economic governance sectors.
